2020 Goals

Here is my list of goals I'd like to accomplish in 2020!

Go on a 30 minute walk at least three times a week & eat healthy foods: In 2019 I made it a goal to lose weight and I did - 20 pounds actually - but I started slacking again in the fall and definitely in the winter once the Christmas treats started rolling out... I'd like to get back on track this year and continue my walks / healthy eating because not only do I feel better but my pants will thank me! šŸ¤£

Post more regularly on the blog and shoot my content earlier: One of the things I struggled with in 2019 was creating content for the blog in a timely fashion. I'm famous for having a scathingly brilliant idea at the last minute and then trying to shoot it in a hurry. It stresses me out and then I don't even enjoy posting the fun idea I had! This year I will take the time to plan out my ideas and execute them earlier to minimize frustrations.

Cook at least one new recipe a week: I love to cook (and to eat!) but I find that I end up cooking the same five or six things on rotation just because I'm comfortable making them. This year I'm vowing to step out of my comfort zone and try one new recipe every week. 

Buy and decorate our new house in Tulsa: One of Mr. Shan and I's biggest goals in 2020 is to buy a house! I'm unbelievably excited about it and I can't wait to start decorating it! I will also try to be patient throughout the whole process because I know it's a marathon, not a sprint.

Make new friends in Tulsa: This may seem like a relatively easy goal but it's going to be pretty nerve-racking for me... I'm incredibly introverted around people I don't know so it takes a very long time for me to open up or even chit-chat with strangers. That being said, I would love to make new friends and hope I don't chicken out too often on this goal!
