For the Cake
1 box angel food cake mix

For the Frosting & Decorating
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened 
1 (8 ounce) block cream cheese, softened
4 cups confectioners' sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
strawberries, for topping
  1. Follow the directions on the back of the cake mix box. Bake the cake in a 9x13" cake pan and let cool before frosting and decorating. 
  2. To make the frosting: Beat together the softened butter and cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Slowly add in the confectioners' sugar, vanilla extract, almond extract and salt. Beat until light and fluffy. Frost the cake. Decorate with strawberries. 
Recipe Notes: Wait to decorate with the strawberries until right before the cake will be served otherwise the strawberries will leak juice and make the cake soggy.
